Yoga Nidra Workshop: Deep Rest and Inner Renewal
Experience the profound healing power of Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation practice that invites deep relaxation and restoration. Often called “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra takes you on a journey between wakefulness and sleep, allowing the body to fully relax while the mind remains gently aware.
In this traditional experience of Yoga Nidra, each person will set an intention followed by pre-practices, a comprehensive set of preparations and poses, to include pranayama and mudra. We will then settle in for guided breathwork, body scanning, and visualization techniques designed to release tension, calm the nervous system, and cultivate a state of deep inner peace. Whether you seek stress relief, better sleep, or a deeper connection to yourself, this practice provides a reset for the body and mind, leaving you feeling rested, rejuvenated, and renewed. Open to all levels—no prior yoga experience required. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to unwind.
Props: Please bring your yoga mat, strap, 2 blocks and blanket if you have them. You may also wish to bring an eye pillow and a second blanket to cover with. Additional props will be provided and also available for purchase.
