TRE: Tension and Trauma Reducing Exercise

TRE is an effective technique that uses specific exercises to release anxiety, stress and stored trauma from the body, tensions that accumulate from everyday circumstances of life, from difficult situations, immediate or prolonged stressful situations, or traumatic life experiences. A tremor (healing vibration) experience is directed first to the psoas and then transitions to other parts of the body. This is unique for each person, depending on how one’s body holds memory of stress. There is a great effect of release to the body at the level of fascia and other structural release. TRE group practice is a great place to start as well as to refine your understanding of this mind-body tool for self-care in how to undo the way stress (physical and emotional) manifests in the body. TRE is also offered as private and semi-private sessions.
